Below is a short history of how we started this company and where are we now:
The beginning of the road
Offering the best products and services with the best customer service experience at the best possible prices while maintaining honesty, integrity and ethical values will be the founding principles of this company. INTELLIPLANS became one of the fastest growing nationwide Internet Service Providers (ISP). With our proprietary “rollover” dial-up software and our partnership with Level 3 and IKANO’s Network, INTELLIPLANS provided one of the largest networks in the US and Canada with over 14,000 access numbers. We also offered graphic design, branding, domains, hosting and website development services. By the end of 2000, over a quarter of a billion subscribers were dialing in to the Internet–more than four times the number of users of other popular access methods, namely broadband DSL, cable, and ISDN modems. Our alliances and partnerships continued to grow with data centers and internet backbone providers.
2003: VALUE ADDED SERVICES
Anti-Virus – Low Cost Domains – Hosting – Websites
With Internet connectivity a price sensitive commodity, ISPs desperately needed to discover new avenues for growth and new ways to delight customers into remaining in the fold. The answer: value-added services. On top of connectivity, low prices and 24/7 customer services, INTELLIPLANS needed to push ahead. To be a successful ISP, you either need to be very big or you need to offer new services and charge for them. Being relatively new in the ISP business, we knew we would not win the price war. Already many ISPs were failing due to the price wars, bait and switch tactics by some of the ISP giants leaving one or two low-priced service providers surviving in every market. INTELLIPLANS quickly worked on offering customers another level of value added products and services: AntiVirus, AntiSpyware, AntiMalware, AntiRootkit and Firewall built into one anti-virus software assuring complete protection for PCs at different levels, lowering the costs needed for technical support. Since customer service is our number one priority, over 99% of our customers were able to use our services without any interruptions dues to viruses or malware issues. We also lowered our pricing for domains, hosting and websites by 70%.
2004: BUNDLED SERVICES
Intense Focus on: Branding, Domains, Hosting, Websites
As times were becoming more tough in the ISP areas, INTELLIPLANS began focusing more on providing business solutions to small and medium sized businesses. The primary goal was to increase the sales in domain names, which was very successful. After the success of providing low cost domain names, we offered a bundled solution by providing free economy web hosting. For the more demanding needs and requirements of corporate clients, we offered full branding, custom websites and hosting with USA 24/7 phone support.
2005: ADVERTISING & MARKETING
Online and Offline Focus
Complementing an overall approach to an online and offline small business experience, we started offering Advertising and Marketing services. Many of our clients as well as new prospects encourage us to provide an advertising and marketing solution catering to their business needs. Knowing this would take a lot more resources as well as expertise, we were confident that the newly established marketing and advertising department would work flawlessly with our graphic design department. The results were stunning! Not only were the two departments able to produce great results at an amazing turn around time, but with the keen knowledge of each client’s branding, the professional results provided to the clients quickly became viral as “word of mouth marketing” took effect.

As our business began to expand beyond local, national and international bounderies, it was natural we formed strategic alliances, partnerships, and product offers that complement our values and ethics. By partnering with these companies, we are able to offer lower costs and more customized value added services to our clients.

2010: ACQUISITIONS, MERGERS, ALLIANCES, PARTNERSHIPS

INTELLIPLANS merged with a small SEO company and acquired another web development company. We also formed a strategic alliance with Cloudflare, which helps distribute your content around the world so it’s closer to your visitors (speeding up your site). It also helps protect your website from a range of online threats from spammers to SQL injection to DDOS.

Customer experience isn’t just one thing. It’s the holistic perception of how your customer feels about your brand from each customer interaction. This includes every conceivable way a customer may encounter your brand – in a conversation with your employee and business operations, interacting with your brand on social media, browsing your website, unpacking, using, and getting support with your physical product or service, getting help from an email– the list goes on.
